GRADUATION!!!

My long awaited graduation came and went! Going to school for an extra semester was fun, I took fun classes and ended up with a 4.0! April 9th and 10th was graduation. My graduation with the business school was the night of April 9th and convocation with all the graduated was the morning of April 10th.

Jake and I before graduation began!

All of my friends graduated in the fall when I should have. Charlotte (on the left) and I had tons of accounting classes together. Michelle (right) and I met in my Nutrition class this last semester and just happened to both be accounting majors! So we became friends fast.

Grandpa and Grandma Eckersell came!

Grandma Marie and Colette came too!

Here I am walking down the stairs after I received my diploma.

Grandma and Grandpa gave me pearl earrings!

I got a pearl necklace from my Mom and Dad!

Dalton and Halceyn came over for food after the graduation friday night.

Saturday morning it was so sunny!

4th of July Celebrations!

It was interesting being on our own for the Fourth of July, we didn't get to light off any fireworks and we didn't have our anual trip out to Boom City on the Tulalip Indian Reservation to bargain to get the most fireworks for your money. Although we didn't do these things we still had an eventful and fun day! It started out when we woke up to a noise of what I thought was the wind blowing our fan faster, but then I looked out the bedroom window and there were hot air balloons super close. The American Flag one landed in the church parking lot accross the street. It was very neat!

Then we continued our advenures with the parade just a block from our house. This parade is crazy, people start camping out the afternoon of the 3rd, they bring couches, TVs, game systems, you name it and someone has it. The parade was fun; there were some amazing floats, but it was quite long for someone who was standing up!

It had rained the night before on all of the people camping out, I thought it was sad but Jake found it quite amusing and thought they were crazy for staying on the street in the first place. It started to rain during the parade and several people decided to make hate out of newspapers like this old lady.

The soccer player was so neat, it made me think of Andrew. I couldn't get a good enough picture of the soccer player, but it still looks kind of cool.

It was also amazing to me, that all of the missionaries in the Provo area were walking with a float from one of the stake's in the area.

The night we went to Jake's Uncle's house for dinner with his family. Daniel and Benjiman are their sons they are so sweet! After dinner we headed to Thanksgiving Point to watch Ice Age 3, it was hilarious! Then we picked a spot, set out our chairs and got ready to watch the firework display. It is so funny that a lot of the fireworks that have to be in a show here are fully legal for us to use in Washington, like fountains for example the ones here shoot maybe 10 inches in the air and the ones we could get in Washington shot up atleast 3 or 4 feet! It was a fun day and we sure enjoyed it!

Engagement Pictures

My mom and I weren't able to get much wedding stuff accomplished because of all the snow that we had up in Washington, but after two weeks we found sometime to get stuff done. We went out last week with Jake and his mom and took pictures at Kyak Point. Luckily we went that day because it rained the rest of the week.
Jake's favorite game: Sack of Potatoes!

I love this one!

I love this one too!

Jake visits Rexburg!

Jake came up last weekend from Provo. It was his first time ever to Rexburg. We were going to go to Mesa falls on Saturday but then it was raining really hard. So by the time it stopped it was to late, but we still wanted to take some pictures. There was no place better to go then the BYU - Idaho Gardens! haha
